Baseball Recap: Cameron's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Cameron came into Thursday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Shell Lake Lakers by a score of 9-6 on Thursday.

Cameron let Brady Gronski and Jayton Silvernail run wild. Gronski went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Silvernail went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Silvernail is becoming a predictor of Cameron's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-17 when he doesn't).

Cameron's victory bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Shell Lake, they moved to 10-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Cameron nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
