Myrtle Point is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They lost 25-10 to Reedsport. Even if the Bobcats couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Meanwhile, Yoncalla came up short against Umpqua Valley Christian on Friday, falling 16-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Monarchs: they've now lost five in a row.
