Football Game Preview: Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles vs. South Hadley Tigers

Two dominant backs in Patrick Larson and Noah Hambley are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles will be playing at home against the South Hadley Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Easthampton/Hampshire lost 35-12 to Hoosac Valley on Friday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, South Hadley fell victim to Lee/Lenox Memorial and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

South Hadley's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Easthampton/Hampshire, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-3.

Easthampton/Hampshire skirted past South Hadley 16-14 in their previous matchup back in September of 2022. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
