Softball Recap: Red Bluff Takes a Loss

Red Bluff came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the University Prep Panthers, falling 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Spartans have suffered since April 10, 2024.

Red Bluff saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camryn Dyke, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Red Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for University Prep, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-5-1.

Coming up, Red Bluff is taking a road trip to challenge Gridley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University Prep, they will welcome Orland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
