Delaware Valley came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points), and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-51 victory over the Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Terriers have posted since January 9th.

Delaware Valley's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Delaware Valley and Bridgewater-Raritan are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Delaware Valley will take on Bordentown on February 27th. Delaware Valley is facing Bordentown at the right time seeing as Bordentown is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, they will square off against Piscataway on February 27th. Piscataway knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Bridgewater-Raritan likes a good challenge.
