Basketball Game Preview: Norwalk Warriors vs. Xavier Saints

The Norwalk Warriors will face off against the Xavier Saints on Thursday. Norwalk knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 contests -- so hopefully Xavier likes a good challenge.

Norwalk is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-54 victory over Central DeWitt. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since December 1, 2023.

Meanwhile, Xavier waltzed into their game on Tuesday with 16 straight wins... but they left with 17. They enjoyed a cozy 71-57 victory over the Crusaders.

Norwalk pushed their record up to 23-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Xavier, their victory bumped their record up to 26-4.
