Steele and Brennan are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Steele Knights will square off against the Brennan Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Steele comes in on six and Brennan on 21.

Steele is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Johnson 73-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Knights have posted since November 22, 2024.

Meanwhile, Brennan was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past East Central 87-49. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 26 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Steele better focus on containing Kingston Flemings and Camden Cowgill as the pair were huge in Brennan's win. Flemings went 8-for-10 en route to 19 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds, while Cowgill went 7-for-16 to rack up 21 points and five boards. Flemings continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Talon Todd, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 14 points and five boards.

Brennan was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now posted at least 25 assists in four consecutive matches.

Steele's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 32-5. As for Brennan, their win bumped their record up to 32-2.

Steele beat Brennan 68-55 in their previous matchup back in November of 2021. Will Steele repeat their success, or does Brennan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
