Volleyball Recap: West Forsyth Comes Up Short

The West Forsyth Wolverines came up short against the Baylor Red Raiders on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Piper Duckworth paced West Forsyth's offense, picking up eight kills. Duckworth got some help from Madison Easley and her 12 assists. Easley also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Charlie Holcomb, racking up two apiece.

West Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Baylor, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Coming up, West Forsyth will square off against South Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baylor, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Marist on the 6th.
