Football Recap: Magnolia West Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Magnolia West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Klein Oak Panthers 35-6. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 381st, while the Panthers are ranked 140th).

Shawn Brown threw for 181 yards on 16 of 27 attempts. Bryson Wright was his top target, picking up 77 receiving yards.

Magnolia West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Klein Oak, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
