Baseball Recap: Willits Find Success

Willits won the last time they faced Tomales and things went their way on Friday too. The Wolverines walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Braves. That's two games straight that the Wolverines have won by exactly three runs.

The win made it two in a row for Willits and bumps their season record up to 9-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Tomales, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9.

Coming up, Willits will host Calistoga at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Wildcats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Tomales, they will head out to face off against Roseland Collegiate Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Braves are facing the Grizzlies at the right time seeing as the Grizzlies are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
