Newbury Park Adventist is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Hillcrest Christian on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Newbury Park Adventist was beaten by Hillcrest Christian 79-31. The defeat continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Saints: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Ojai Valley was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Westmark 62-31. The match marked the Spuds' most dominant victory of the season.

Ojai Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Newbury Park Adventist, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 14-6.
