Softball Recap: Central of Coosa County Cougars vs. Woodland Bobcats

Central of Coosa County had lost six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-13 to make it seven. They lost 15-5 to the Woodland Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 back in March.

As for Woodland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games.
