Cahokia came out on top against Granite City on Friday thanks in part to Bryant Byrd's efforts. Byrd picked up 70 receiving yards and one score. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (18) he has had since back in August of 2024.

Byrd and Cahokia will take on Carbondale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will pit Byrd up against the Terriers' star running back Savion Jayden Thomas-Mims. Will the contest be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.
