Baseball Recap: Midview Comes Up Short

Midview and Wooster squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Midview had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the Generals. Considering the last time the Middies couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Midview's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Wooster, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Midview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wooster, they will square off against Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Streaks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Generals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
