Volleyball Recap: Hilliard Bradley Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

If Westerville Central wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hilliard Bradley, they should've done a better job of containing Luke Schroeder. Hilliard Bradley walked away with a 3-1 victory over Westerville Central on Thursday thanks in part to Schroeder, who had 14 digs and two aces. Those 14 digs gave him a new career-high.

Hilliard Bradley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-29, 25-18, 25-17, 25-16.

The win made it two in a row for Hilliard Bradley and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Westerville Central, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Hilliard Bradley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Hilliard Darby on the 21st. As for Westerville Central, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dublin Jerome at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
