Baseball Game Preview: Peaster Greyhounds vs. Early Longhorns

For the second straight game, Peaster will face off against Early. The Greyhounds will head out on the road to face off against the Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Peaster's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Early's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Peaster will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Early, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Greyhounds walked away with an 8-4 win over the Longhorns on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won three in a row.

For Early's part, Brayden Moya was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Early has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Peaster, their win bumped their record up to 15-6-1.
