Baseball Recap: Scranton Comes Up Short

If Scranton was riding high fresh off their 10-3 takedown of West Scranton on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights lost 16-4 to the Invaders on Thursday. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Invaders earlier this season, when they won 10-3.

Scranton saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Hernandez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for West Scranton, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-14.

Scranton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Scranton, they will take on North Pocono at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
