The Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders will head out to  face off against the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lake Highland Prep will  challenge  a team with plenty of momentum: Old Plank Christian Academy extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Defenders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cedar Creek Christian 51-6. The  matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Defenders had established  a  39-point advantage.
 Troy Howell had a dynamite game, throwing for 38 yards and three  TDs, while also rushing for 36 yards and one  touchdown.
 Old Plank Christian Academy's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB  four times.  Nicolas Barbosa was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.
Meanwhile, Lake Highland Prep made easy work of Trinity Prep  on Friday and carried off  a  44-20 victory. The Highlanders haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
Old Plank Christian Academy better keep an eye on  Eddie Bohne. He was instrumental in Lake Highland Prep's win, rushing for 145 yards and a pair of  scores on only nine carries, while also picking up 35 receiving yards.  Will Wankelman was another key signal caller, throwing for 102 yards and three  TDs.
 Lake Highland Prep didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Trinity Prep to a completion percentage of just 47.4%. The team can thank  Eli Horne for the heroic effort on defense: he. Lake Highland Prep has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.6 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.6 in their last three games.
 Old Plank Christian Academy's record is now 8-2. As for Lake Highland Prep, their record now sits at 6-2.
 Friday's   game might be decided on the ground. Old Plank Christian Academy has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 247.1  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Lake Highland Prep struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 204.5  rushing yards.
