            Basketball Recap: Osceola Kowboys vs. Poinciana Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Osceola won the last time they faced Poinciana, and  Keyanna S. did her part to make sure it happened again. The Osceola Kowboys came out on top against the Poinciana Eagles by a score of  65-57  on Friday thanks in part to  S., who  posted 27  points. That makes it five consecutive games in which  she has scored at least a third of Osceola's points.
 Poinciana lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Jaella Griffin, who  went 7 of 16  on her way to 21 points and eight  steals. With that strong performance,  Griffin is now averaging an impressive 17.5  points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Salwa Machti, who  went 6 of 13  on her way to 16 points.

 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osceola will square off against Apopka at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Poinciana, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Celebration at 6:30  p.m.  on January 27th.
