Softball Recap: South Sumter Raiders vs. Lake Weir Hurricanes

After only two runs in their last contest, South Sumter made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lake Weir on Saturday. The Raiders walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Hurricanes. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Hailey Hickman tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
