Bemidji came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Elk River Elks by a score of 58-46. While the Lumberjacks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Bemidji is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Elk River, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
