On Tuesday Daniel Guin tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. The performance also marked the fewest walks (one) Guin has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than two walks. This season, he has an ERA of 3.36 over 8.3 innings pitched.

Even though Guin couldn't lead Houston Academy over Geneva, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
