Volleyball Recap: Boardman Spartans vs. Harding Raiders        
        
		
             Boardman won the last time they faced Harding, and things went their way  on Monday too. Everything went the Boardman Spartans' way against the Harding Raiders as the Boardman Spartans made off with  a  3-0 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Spartans.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Boardman took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-14,  25-11.
 Leading Boardman to victory were  Gianna Commons and  Sadie Satterfield.  Commons  had four  digs and two  aces, while  Satterfield  had five  digs.
 She wasn't the only good server: Boardman  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 11  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harding only served two.
 When it comes to explaining why Harding lost, don't look at  Ava Greene. Despite the final result, she  had 13  digs.
 Boardman now  has a winning record of 8-7. As for Harding, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record  this season.
 Boardman's road trip will continue as they head out to face East Liverpool at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (East Liverpool has won seven straight at home, while Boardman won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
