It was a good run, but Houston Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Har-Ber Wildcats, falling 11-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered since February 24, 2024.

Houston Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was MC Been, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double was Been's first of the season.

Houston Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Har-Ber, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.
