William Harmon Drops League-Best Effort on Friday

Starting off the list is Sussex Central's William Harmon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Harmon made ten total tackles and defended a pass. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making ten total tackles and defending a pass.

Sussex Central's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Harmon and Sussex Central will venture away from home to take on St. Georges Tech on Saturday.

Kahmaj Kearney Delivers Best Performance of Season

On Friday, Smyrna got the W thanks in part to Kahmaj Kearney playing the best football he has all season. Kearney rushed for 185 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Kearney must have Caesar Rodney's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Kearney last faced the Riders back in October of 2023, he rushed for 31 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 66 receiving yards.

Bell Posts Huge Game in 41-27 Win

Another Sussex Central player making an appearance on this list is Malik Bell. He rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 126 rushing yards dating back to last season.

On the year, Bell has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 181.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had four rushing touchdowns.

Sam Pucci Turns in Another Game with at Least Five Total Tackles

Sussex Central was led to victory by Sam Pucci, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Pucci wasn't messing around, picking up a sack and making 13 total tackles (4.0 for loss). The contest was his fourth straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.

This season, Pucci has averaged 7.8 total tackles per game and for the season has those 1 sack. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 3.17 total tackles per game.

Phoenix Henriquez Dazzles in Smyrna Victory

Another Smyrna player making an appearance on this list is Phoenix Henriquez. He picked up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 64 yards.

On the year, Henriquez has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 88.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had three receiving touchdowns.
