Basketball Recap: Metamora Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Metamora waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 59-58 W against the Dunlap Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-52 back in January.

Metamora's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Dunlap, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.
