The Babcock Trailblazers are taking a road trip to take on the Lehigh Lightning at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Babcock is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Babcock came up short against Gateway on Friday, falling 10-4. The Trailblazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emmie Barritt made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two runs. Caylee Kessler also deserves some recognition as she stole her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 25 runs the game before, Lehigh was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 17-0 to Riverdale. The game marked the first time this year in which the Lightning were not able to get on the board.

Babcock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lehigh, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
