Baseball Recap: Ignacio Wins Going Away Against Dolores

Ignacio hadn't done well against Dolores recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bobcats blew past the Bears 19-1. That looming 19-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bobcats yet this season.

Ambrose V and Stoney W made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, V pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Meanwhile, W kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. V has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. At bat, V scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5, while W went 3-for-6 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. V also put up a triple, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, William M was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-5. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Joesph A was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-5.

Ignacio kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
