Baseball Recap: Mullins Comes Up Short

Mullins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-0 to the East Clarendon Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Friday.

Mullins' defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for East Clarendon, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Coming up, Mullins is taking a road trip to challenge Kingstree at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Auctioneers are facing the Blazers at the right time seeing as the Blazers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for East Clarendon, they have already played their next matchup, a 4-3 win against Atlantic Collegiate Academy on the 14th.
