Basketball Recap: Spencer County Takes a Loss

Spencer County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-31 heartbreaker at the hands of the Woodford County Yellowjackets. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 35-34.

Spencer County's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Woodford County, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Spencer County will venture away from home to challenge Mercer County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodford County has already played their next contest (against Anderson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
