Sharon entered their tilt with Grove City on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Sharon pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Grove City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sharon is set to face off against their familiar foe Slippery Rock at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3.8, the Rockets 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Grove City will challenge rival Titusville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
