Football Recap: Roosevelt Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Roosevelt had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the King Wolves by a score of 22-20 on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Ben* Major was nothing short of spectacular for King: he rushed for 122 yards and one TD on only 12 carries.

Looking ahead, Roosevelt will welcome San Juan Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for King, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against San Jacinto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
