Basketball Recap: Holly Springs Takes a Loss

Holly Springs was the 56-50 winner over Rosa Fort when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Holly Springs Hawks were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 61-60 to the Rosa Fort Lions. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holly Springs' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10. As for Rosa Fort, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holly Springs will welcome North Panola at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th. As for Rosa Fort, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Rosa Fort Lions challenge the Independence Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Rosa Fort's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
