Softball Recap: Arrowhead Comes Up Short

If Arrowhead was riding high fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Kettle Moraine on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warhawks fell 8-4 to the Muskego Warriors on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 back in April.

Arrowhead's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Muskego, they pushed their record up to 23-2 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Arrowhead will welcome Nicolet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.31 runs per game on average), something the Warhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of. Muskego does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
