Morgantown entered their tilt with Buckhannon-Upshur on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Buccaneers a 9-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 last Tuesday.

Vincent Aloi made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most hits he has posted over his last 12 games.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Eli Boggs, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Ryan Nipper was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI.
