Basketball Recap: Royall Takes a Loss

Royall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Necedah Cardinals. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-39 back in December of 2024.

Royall's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Necedah, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Royall will head out on the road to square off against Brookwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Royall is facing Brookwood at the right time seeing as Brookwood is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Necedah, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Necedah Cardinals take on the Hillsboro Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
