Softball Recap: Central Catholic Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. James on Thursday, Central Catholic came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 10-2 to the Thibodaux Tigers on Monday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Thibodaux, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Central Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 5-3 defeat against Hanson Memorial on the 24th. As for Thibodaux, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-1 victory against East St. John on the 24th.
