Volleyball Recap: Perry Central Takes a Loss

Perry Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Greene County Wildcats, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Perry Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Greene County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry Central will square off against Northeast Jones at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greene County, they will head out to challenge North Forrest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
