Volleyball Game Preview: Tri-County Penguins vs. Wild Rose Wildcats

The Tri-County Penguins will take on the Wild Rose Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-County is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Monday, Tri-County came up short against Portage and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Wild Rose challenged Pittsville on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22, 26-24.

Wild Rose's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Tri-County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Everything went Tri-County's way against Wild Rose in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Tri-County made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Penguins repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
