Basketball Recap: Boulder Creek Snags Eighth Win in Last Nine Games

Boulder Creek had won three straight home games and Andrew Bhesania did his part to make it four on Thursday. The Boulder Creek Jaguars strolled past the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions with points to spare, taking the game 78-64 thanks in part to Bhesania, who went 11 of 14 en route to 27 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

Matthew Delgado was another key player, going 6 for 11 on his way to 19 points and seven boards. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Mountain Ridge lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dylan Donovan, who went 6 of 13 en route to 12 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Thompson, who posted 12 points.

Boulder Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.9 points per game. As for Mountain Ridge, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Boulder Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-54 win against Cesar Chavez on the 24th. As for Mountain Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 88-74 defeat against Pinnacle on the 24th.
