Providence came into Friday's match looking for another win against Rocky River, but Lundyn Spears wouldn't allow it. The Rocky River Ravens strolled past the Providence Panthers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 50-35 thanks in part to Spears, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and ten steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in shooting accuracy (67%).

Tristin Jarrett was another key player, putting up nine points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Providence's loss came despite strong showings from Emma Fuller and ZaMiyah Brooks. Fuller dropped a double-double with 11 boards and ten blocks, while Brooks posted seven points along with ten rebounds and three steals. Brooks continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Rocky River's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points over those games. As for Providence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocky River will welcome Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Providence, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Providence is facing Garinger at the right time seeing as Garinger is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
