Basketball Game Preview: Northglenn Norsemen vs. Prairie View Thunderhawks

Northglenn hasn't had much luck against Prairie View recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Northglenn Norsemen will look to defend their home court against the Prairie View Thunderhawks at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Northglenn came up short against Westminster and fell 44-37.

Meanwhile, Prairie View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They lost to Mountain Range at home by a 70-53 margin. One positive for the Thunderhawks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Northglenn will have to contain Elizabeth Scaff as she made an impact in Prairie View's last game. She posted 28 points. That was a full 52.8% of Prairie View's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Evelyn Ramirez, who earned eight points.

Northglenn's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Prairie View, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-20.

Northglenn didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Prairie View in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 49-44 win.
