Soccer Recap: Woodward Academy Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McIntosh, Woodward Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Tri-Cities Bulldogs. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the War Eagles' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Tri-Cities with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Corinne Rodriguez (2), Lola Manuel, and Nia Thompson.

Woodward Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Tri-Cities, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
