Softball Recap: Iowa Colony Comes Up Short

Iowa Colony fell victim to Friendswood and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 9-0. Considering the last time the Pioneers couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Iowa Colony has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Friendswood, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
