Baseball Recap: Boyertown Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Boyertown, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Daniel Boone Blazers a 5-0 shutout on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

With the win, Boyertown broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. As for Daniel Boone, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Coming up, Boyertown will venture away from home to challenge Upper Perkiomen at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Daniel Boone, they will challenge Wilson at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
