Clearview comes up short despite Jai Walton's dominant performance

Recap: Clearview Clippers vs. Firelands Falcons
The Clearview Clippers lost against the Firelands Falcons back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Clearview fell just short of Firelands by a score of 52-49.
When it comes to explaining why Clearview lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jai Walton. Despite the final result, he scored ten points along with nine rebounds. Ayden Cruz was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five assists.
Clearview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Firelands, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clearview will take on Brookside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Firelands, they will be playing at home against Oberlin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oberlin is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
