Softball Recap: Coronado Comes Up Short

Coronado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-4 to Sweetwater. Coronado was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Sweetwater earlier this season, when they won 13-4.

Aniyah Lazo made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Coronado's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sweetwater, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Coronado will take on Jim Ned at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sweetwater, they will host Irvin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
