Recap: West Hills Wolf Pack vs. Santana Sultans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Steele Canyon, The West Hills Wolf Pack were happy to have found some success on Friday. They didn't even let Santana onto the board and left with a 14-0 victory. For West Hills, this counts as revenge for the 10-3 loss Santana walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Joseph Hamilton threw for 115 yards and a touchdown. Kyler Oberg was his top target, picking up 59 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Collin Dill rushed for 72 yards on only seven carries.
West Hills' victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Santana, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Hills will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on La Jolla Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. La Jolla Country Day will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. Santana will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Crawford at 6:00 p.m. on November 10th. Crawford is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
