Basketball Game Preview: Madison Cubs vs. Seymour Owls

Madison is 1-9 against Seymour since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Madison Cubs will host the Seymour Owls at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Madison's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.

Last Saturday, Madison didn't have too much trouble with North Harrison as they won 63-49.

Meanwhile, Seymour entered their tilt with Floyd Central on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They strolled past the Highlanders with points to spare, taking the game 44-28. The team accrued 30 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.

Seymour pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Madison, they have also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.
