El Dorado has gone 9-1 against Horizon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The El Dorado Aztecs will take on the Horizon Scorpions at 10:30 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

El Dorado came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-0 to Bel Air. That makes it the first time this season the Aztecs have let down their home crowd.

Meanwhile, Horizon came up short against Del Valle on Wednesday and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, the Scorpions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 445th in Texas, while the Conquistadores are ranked 96th in Texas).

El Dorado suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 10-5. As for Horizon, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11.

El Dorado skirted past Horizon 2-1 when the teams last played on February 5th. The rematch might be a little tougher for El Dorado since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
